Day 1 : Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties.

Upon on your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are welcomed by our driver then we have a short transfer to our hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi

The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the tree-lined boulevards, French Indochinese architecture and tranquil lakes of this unique city.

Day 2 : Full Day Hanoi City Tour – Night Train to Lao cai (B,L)

08.00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will come to the hotel and pick you up, then we will start the Hanoi city tour

We will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you can visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept there. Next you will visit the Presidential Palace – a nice French architecture in the garden and Ho Chi Minh House on stilt. Visiting the house you will see the simple life of Ho Chi Minh – the president in Vietnamese’s spirit forever. We will finish this area with One Pillar Pagoda – one of the most attractions in Hanoi you cannot miss with the special in architecture.

Having lunch and you will continue to the Temple of Literature – The first University of Vietnam. The next destination will be Museum of Ethnology to learn more about Vietnam Culture. Next we will explore Hanoi by traveling through the Old Quarter with 36 ancient streets in a traditional cyclo. This slow – speed tour will give your great chance to fully enjoy the classic and modern of the capital. We will end the tour at about 04.00 PM then it is your free time to go shopping, relax in Hanoi.

In the evening, about 08.30 PM, our guide will come to your hotel and transfer you to Hanoi train station for Lao Cai departure and spend whole night on train.

Day 3 : Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Sin Chai Village (B,L,D)

06h00: Pick up at Lao Cai train station to Sa Pa by minibus. Arrive in Sa Pa in the mid-morning, then have breakfast and relax at hotel, after that the guide takes you to visit Cat Cat is a small but bustling village situated at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. Here you will see traditional Hmong homes at their best, and you will be able to meet a Hmong family to learn more about their way of life. The village is also the perfect place to see traditional clothing being made, hemp being dyed and women weaving. From Cat Cat we will follow the Muong Hoa Valley for 3km through rice terraces and small dwellings to Sin Chai. This village is a little off the usual trekking route and less visited, but offers the opportunity to see traditional wooden homes built using the indigenous Pumu tree. Transport will be waiting in Sin Chai to take you back to Sapa.

Day 4 : Trekking through Muong Hoa valley (B,L,D)

After breakfast, the guide takes you to the villages of the H’mong and Dzay called Lao Chai village and Ta Van village.The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sapa valley. Start by road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km) En route, admire the rice terraces hidden behind mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Follow a small track and cross Muong Hoa River and pass well tended rice terraces on your way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van Giay . As you continue your trek along the Muong Hoa River you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict some beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns. We lunch in a home in the village. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to visit Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa. Take a shower and have dinner in Sapa/Laocai before transferred to Laocai. Overnight on train.

Day 5 : Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)

05.30 – 06.00 AM: Arrival in Hanoi train station, our support staff pick you up and take you to our hotel in Hanoi Old Quater, you will have breakfast before enjoying Halong Bay.

08.00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 3.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.

You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour exploring the bay, we will get back to the cruise for relaxation before attending Cooking class in the late afternoon.

Enjoy the superb dinner and stay overnight on board.

Day 6 : Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

We will continue our journey on Halong Bay in early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on cruise.
Sitting on the upper deck; you can relax, sight-seeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.
After breakfast, we will explore Sung Sot cave – one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life.

At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
You leave the boat around 12:00 at noon, we go ashore and transfer back to Hanoi.

About 04.30 PM, you will arrrive at your hotel in the Old Quarter. Enjoy the last night in Hanoi.

Day 7 : Hanoi – Departure (B)

Today is your free time at your leisure to enjoy last moment in the North of Vietnam. About 03 hours before your flight, we transfer you to the airport for your flight.
